The Pennsylvania Avenue East Community Coalition welcomes you to Penn Ave East, the longstanding residential and business corridor of Pennsylvania Avenue that stretches from the Sousa Bridge to Southern Avenue, DC's eastern-most border.
An established collection of neighborhoods that include single-family, row-home and multi-family units, the residential areas touching the avenue include Dupont Park, Fairfax Village, Fairlawn, Fort Davis, Hillcrest, Penn Branch, and Randle Highlands. Rich with history and beautiful public parks, Penn Ave East has been home to two of DC's mayors and is permeated by the Fort Circle Park system with it's walking and bike trails.
With exciting new residential and retail development coming to the corridor, our site will highlight the many great features of our neighborhoods and keep you up to date on the latest happenings in and around Penn Ave East.
